Mavra Zehra
Project Manager, Economic Law and Policy
Mavra Zehra is a Project Manager with IISD’s Economic Law and Policy program. Through monitoring and evaluation, Mavra uses data to help tell the story of the way IISD’s work brings about the change in the world.
Mavra has over five years of field-based monitoring and evaluation experience in the United States, Canada, and Pakistan. She has provided Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) support to the humanitarian and transition/recovery programming at CARE International, leading the real time review study.
Prior to humanitarian programming Mavra worked on the implementation of a monitoring and evaluation framework for a Preventing/Countering Violent Extremism (P/CVE) project funded by the USAID-OTI, supporting the design of MEAL plans and performance measurement frameworks.
Mavra is based out of IISD’s Toronto office and speaks fluent Urdu and English.
